My daughter started White Tiger Taekwon-Do nearly 2 years ago. She wanted to stop doing other after school clubs once she went to High School. She still wanted to keep up with the physical exercise and was interested in doing a Martial Art. I spoke to a family friend who went to the club and said bring her along.
Within 2 years she has achieved up to her green belt, grown in confidence and made new friends. The club is run excellently by Paul and Jill, it has a fun family atmosphere but also in stills respect and determination.

My son loves going to Tiger Cubs and looks forward to going every week. They learn a lot more than martial arts, they learn respect, discipline, stranger danger and about the emergency services. 5* club!

Tiger Cubs is a brilliant introduction to Taekwon-Do for younger children. We signed our son up to burn off some extra energy and to learn some important life skills. Mrs W is a great instructor, she keeps all of the children involved and focused.

Brilliant group and our children absolutely love going. Their confidence and self control have changed dramatically. Would recommend this class to everyone of all ages.

I started with White Tiger TKD 18 months ago so I could learn a new skill and develop my fitness. I looked at several forms of martial arts but wanted somewhere that would welcome youngsters, as I would like my children to attend when they feel ready. White Tiger was the only local club to be Clubmark accredited, which is proof of high standards (student welfare, coaching, equality, etc), and having completed this same accreditation at my work, I knew this was the best place to come. From the first lesson onwards the instructors and senior students take a huge interest in developing the newcomers in a friendly and safe environment. I could not recommend this club more highly.

I have so many good things to say about this club. My son, now 10, joined a year ago and absolutely loves it. I’ve watched his skills develop considerably in this time and continue to be impressed by the maturity and dedication he shows to learning this martial art. I like the fact that the club is a complete mixture of ages, gender and ability where all are welcome and no-one needs to feel uncomfortable about starting from scratch. The class is run with great dedication by Mr and Mrs Wanklyn who manage to create a learning environment that is disciplined, fun and nurturing all at the same time. The benefits to my son are real life skills, self defence, fitness and above all a level of confidence that he can take forward into the adult world.

White Tiger Martial arts is a very family freindly club that develops far more than just combat and self defense technique. The instructors are committed to martial arts and have plenty of experience and knowledge to pass on and there are many club members who give up their free time to support the club in various events. White Tiger is very focused on overall personal development and preparation for threatening situations whilst also focusing on keeping training enjoyable and developing character and confidence within its students.

Though it's less oriented towards competitive performance than some clubs, It offers a much broader and more balanced experience of both mental and physical development that almost anyone could benefit from.
